I do like the price and I also like I can share to "anyone with a link". ![]() Most mindmapping apps only let you refer one box to another, but showing a workflow is challenging. It seems to be easy to have more than one directional arrow on the map. It appears I could also do some flowcharting, which is sometimes needed as part of a mindmap for what I do. Pretty cool in that it is not strictly mindmapping. Please correct me if I'm wrong, and please tell me if you think I may be right, also recommendations to other software that could do these types of advanced functions would be appreciated. You need to look at the bottom of the page to see different use examples by category, you'll then see the ways they are approaching this. However, upon doing some extra research I came across this software:įrom what I can tell, this software has the most sophisticated way of handling mind maps. ![]() Like let's say you're building out a list of solutions you could think of and there are categorical ratings you want to add to your entire list of options and then pull out the categorical ratings later to view them in a different manner.Īnyway I'm sure that what I'm getting at is somewhat confusing but I'm also sure that some of you can get a sense for what I mean.įirst of all, as a basic mind mapping software, I've found that knowledgebase builder by inforapid is sufficient and reasonably priced (completely free online and apps are one-time payment per platform) Having shared templates or values between tiles from a mother template. Having certain values within a tile or a connection to better represent connections, relative importance, etc. having multiple "perspectives" because sometimes a whole bunch of things fall under each other and you'd need separate mind maps to visually represent types of relationships referencing other tiles/concepts from another mind map or from within the same map linking to other mind maps from within a map ![]() They always seem to lack the inter-connectivity that my mind maps need. So I'm almost always disappointed with mind mapping software I've used. I'm sure some of you have gone on full-blown investigative research efforts to identify better mind map software several times. Okay, first of all I am not promoting this guy's software, more like looking for someone experienced to tell me "no it's not the best because I know of this software (X) which does the same or better"
